Delivery Policy

1. Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation (excluding weekends/public holidays).

  • You’ll receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase, followed by a dispatch notification with tracking details once your order ships.


2. Delivery Timelines

Note: Delays may occur due to courier backlog, weather, or incorrect addresses.

3. Shipping Partners & Tracking

  • We ship via tracked courier services (e.g., The Courier Guy, Dawn Wing).

  • Your tracking number will be emailed upon dispatch. Use it to:

    • Monitor real-time progress on the courier’s website.

    • Request delivery rescheduling or safe-place drop-off.


4. Shipping Fees

  • Calculated automatically at checkout based on:

    • Order weight/size (e.g., cutting boards cost more to ship than wall hooks).

    • Delivery location.

  • Free shipping promotions (if applicable) will be displayed in cart.


5. Failed Deliveries & Address Changes

  • Incorrect Addresses: Double-check your shipping details at checkout. We’re not liable for delays/costs due to errors.

  • Failed Attempts: Couriers will:

    • Attempt delivery twice.

    • Hold your parcel at a local depot for 5 days before returning it to us.

  • Address Changes: Email support@cartisanco.online within 24 hours of ordering. Changes after dispatch may incur fees.


6. Damaged/Missing Parcels

  • Inspect Upon Delivery: Refuse visibly damaged parcels and contact us immediately.

  • Missing Items: Report within 48 hours of delivery via email with order number and photos.

  • We’ll replace or refund per our Returns Policy.


7. Rural/Remote Areas

  • Deliveries to farms, estates, or remote regions may take extra 2–3 days.

  • Couriers may require pickup from a local depot.


8. International Shipping

Currently, Cartisan ships only within South Africa. We’ll notify you if this changes!
